SkoutIn Inc. ("SkoutIn", "we", "us", or "our") provides an all-in-one client acquisition platform comprising cold email automation, B2B lead scraping, mailbox warmup, and email verification tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you visit our website, use our software, or interact with our services.
02. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, password hash (salted using bcrypt), and subscription tier.
- SMTP & IMAP Credentials: Host addresses, ports, usernames, and app passwords necessary to authenticate with your email providers for cold email delivery and autonomous warmup.
- Outreach & Campaign Data: Contact lists, recipient email addresses, custom email templates, and campaign performance metrics (sent, opened, clicked, bounced, replied).
- Global Lead Vault B2B Data: Commercial business contact information indexed by platform crawlers from public directories (e.g., Google Maps, LinkedIn company listings) such as business names, phone numbers, public websites, and professional email addresses, which you may unlock and export into your campaigns.
03. Encryption & Mailbox Security
We treat your mailbox authentication credentials with bank-grade security:
All connected SMTP and IMAP passwords are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Decryption keys are stored in isolated environment key vaults and are never exposed in logs or client-side responses.
Our engineers and staff cannot view your personal emails. Warmup exchanges and inbox monitoring are processed purely through automated, sandboxed background workers.
04. How We Use Your Data
Your information is used strictly to:
- Execute cold email campaigns according to your configured schedules and SMTP rotation rules.
- Power the peer-to-peer warmup network to rescue emails from spam and build domain deliverability.
- Verify deliverability of recipient addresses via direct socket handshakes.
- Calculate deliverability health scores and automatically quarantine failing inboxes.
- Process billing subscriptions, prevent fraud, and deliver customer support.
05. Third-Party Payment Gateways
We do not store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account credentials on SkoutIn servers. All financial transactions are processed securely through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateways including Stripe, Flutterwave, Paystack, and PayPal.
06. Data Retention & Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You maintain full ownership of your data. You may export your contact lists and campaign histories at any time. Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or complete erasure of your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated SMTP credentials permanently from your Account Settings.
